We have a 20 2.0 10 speed. We get 24 city. Maybe he's in sport mode.
We went to a 18 inch wheel/tire. Saved 4 lbs per corner and improved the ride and braking.

If you know what you are doing you can get way higher MPG. The problem is finding the engines sweet spot. A very rough rule of thumb is 1/4 x (RPMmnax – Tickover) + Tickover. The problem is petrol engines are getting like diesels IE the sweet spot for RPM on a diesel can be as narrow as 200RPM. On my last diesel car it was 1800 to 2000 RPM.. My newish (2 years old) BMW 118i has a sweet spot about 400RPM wide. and it's lower in the RPM range than expected. IE it centres on 1900RPM however if driven just right I get 80 to the gallon on long journeys. That's about 65ish to the US gallon.

Well considering that mitsubishi has always made the Turbo chargers for Chrysler including all the turbocharged 2.2 l K car crap In the 1980s I don't think that it's reassuring to hear.

Hey Scotty do you have a website or some other place where you keep an updated list of all the vehicle makes and models that are the best and the worst? That would be really helpful.

You should really clarify that the B K and J series are the golden Honda motors. Non K__C engines are argued to be one of the most reliable 4cyls ever made, those Ks can make 500hp when boosted on stock bottom end internals
