Turbo used to mean a normal car will go faster if you rev it.
Now a turbo means a sluggish engine needs the boost to achieve normal performance, and it wears out much faster.
"Eco friendly" and planned obsolescence in every package.
The green revolution is here.
In Australia that’s called a Holden
Easy to see how Scotty could have been a PhD if he'd wanted to. He just passed the guard like a red belt. 😆
2:19 bye puppy
Myself and my cat both watch Scotty's videos the minute they pop. I don't know what my cat gets out of it, but get a lot out of the vids.
Would adding some lead to higher grade premium fuel help with the knocking?
I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze with that same EcoTech 1.4 Liter engine and it has 114,000+ miles – no timing chain problems. The only defect I've found is the vacuum regulator which is built into the valve cover and the PCV valve which is built into the intake manifold. I've installed a workaround modification over a year ago and haven't had vacuum regulator or PCV issues since. Regular oil changes using FULL SYNTHETIC oil are a MUST with this engine.
I must be smarter than I thought. My first thought was the timing chain as well. Very surprised it was going out at such low miles.
It should not be bouncing around like that. Oh my. 😎
Worn timing chain at 88k? That's sad.
