Japanese products are high quality due to the integrity and high standards of the culture.
I find most anything Japanese made is among the very best.

There are known problems with the transmissions on 2003 V6 Honda/Acura. I owned a 2003 2.4 4 cyl Accord. In 2010 I purchased it with 90k miles with all the recommended maintenance done up until that point. I traded in 2017 with 167k miles but the tranny still shifted buttery smooth. I never did a transmission flush or drain and fill after that during my 7 yr ownership. I'm curious if anyone with their V6 or 4cyl for that matter still experienced problems even if they did drain and fills or flushes often. Basically, even though I was fortunate with 70k plus miles with same fluid you should only use honda genuine fluids and do drain and fills or flushes, and which one or the other??

Japanese cars built in America proves that American workers can build quality .. but you need quality parts to assemble !! The Detroit biggies always looking for the lowest cost. … Same worker cheaper parts.
