best rig i have ever seen was a 69 chevy pu with a 292 in it we worked the heck out of it every day loaded till u could not load it any more but it just kept going his son was trying to kill it and it just would not quit ended up putting 1,200,000 miles on it at this time it still ran but it had a lot of problems the rear end was going the engine was weak the doors fell off so he rebuilds the engine put another rear end in it and welded the hinges to the cab. we thought it was going to scrap till we seen it and he is all happy telling us he fixed it what was so funny was his son was a ford nut and hated chevys but had to drive one all day long doing land scaping.
I have that same engine in my 2008 Element. It's been a good car. Mostly reliable and is still going strong.

HI Scotty I recently bought a Honda civic hatchback 1.4 i-dsi with 123,000 Km on it, what you think about that engines? Are they reliable? They have 8 sparkplugs and I don't know if they have been changed.
You are! My Kia has outlasted every car I or anyone else has ever owned.
The last research that was done in UK between 12 car brands and over 5 models of each brand in total there were 500.000 cars. The HONDA was the best and strongest cars of all of those brands and second place was taken by Toyota.

I miss my 2000 Honda Prelude. Such a great car and I kept it 11 years.
Scotty I got a 1993 Toyota Corolla with 161,000 miles for 800$ runs like new.
Had a 2014 Accord 4 cylinder…. 205,000 miles, all the was ever done was maintenance. I used Honda items, and Mobil-1 oil. Truly ran perfect! Sold it and bought a 2021 Civic Hatchback.. 29,000 miles, 3 oil changes & tire rotations, 1.5 L turbo 4cylinder, NO oil usage, or oil dilution . Again, I only use Honda items, and Mobil-1. I’m going to get 300,000 out of this puppy!!!
