In this video I look at a customers 2007 Toyota Sienna (with the big 3.3) that has a customer complaint of a SES light with a P0340. The customer played hopscotch with a ebay special cam sensor but didn’t make any progress. Now it is my turn to guess what’s wrong with it.

Still never amazes me that here we all are on the end of the road in 2022 and these electronic parts manufacturers have NO precise dimensions to ensure the integrity of the fitment is snug. These companies fail us techs and when we end up dealing with a pissed off customer's that are oblivious to the auto repair industry let alone a clue about changing a tire.

What about the old sensor that he replaced and it's just sitting inside the car few inches away!!!
It looks to me as if there is a metal pressure plate needed which fits around the sensor secured to the bolt to stop flexing.
