Hi Pete, many thanks on your small dent removal. I watched your 3 part video on rust removal using vinegar water. I have a '79 Daimler that I want to do paint work on. I don't know if what I'm doing will be right, but don't want to replace the black vinyl roof but match it up with the rest of the body. No doubt you'll have something in your library that will take me through the whole procedure. I don't want my my car concourse, I just don't want it to rust.

I've never done any form of paintwork on a car before. However you explain it in such a way that even a beginner (me) can understand

There are speciel tools to do that with u need to be careful when not using those specific tools on cars.

Could use a little masking tape over the tool. Done this also with a small aluminum bat or the back of a wooden hammer handle. This is an old comment but I figure to put it here for people like me who come look later to see if their question was answered.

Yeah your right! And I could have used a peice of wood as well, and I could have showed painting the inside of the quarter panel, and I could have used a suction cup method, and I could have done alot of thing different then what I did! But I didn't…. Theres your answer! hope it answered your question and you came back to see if I answered your question, because we don't want to get confused and lost on how easy it is for a D.I.Y'er to fix a dent with a simple tool!
