Using Spray Paint to create a Guide Coat for block sanding primer, to find all the imperfections and mistakes before actually painting the car or truck . Rattle Cans work best for this job and cheap flat black paint is what you want.

Nothing wrong with bringing a car to perfection if it is going to be a trailer queen but the reality is that it is only perfect until some moron parks his ass up against it and leans on the car. And the result is an Instant low spot and all that hard work and labor expense gone down the toilet. Or just wash your car on a hot day and watch the panels warp. LOL. They always say not to wax your car in the sun but washing a hot car with cool tap water is much more destructive to those lazer straight panels.
The car looks very nice Pete and I know that for at least the first week or so, Norm will see all your hard work. Then he will start installing the engine and it's all daily driver from there on out.
Won't a cloth mask be cheaper and safer? It works for biological and the dust particles are bigger.
Looks like a good situation…👀💯
You can only do what the customer is willing to pay for though, if the customer wants a half ass job then maybe they should take it to a half ass shop, not my friend Pete. I guess it is our friend nit pick norm though, so you've gotta help him out right? I hope he appreciates the end result.
I knew a guy that actually painted his girlfriends car completely with rattle cans.
I have a question im working on a 1971 camaro and I'm skim coating the door now how do I adress the body line in the middle of the door? do I sand till I see bare metal or leave a coat of bondo over it?
Hi Pete learnt a lot from you have i do my own repairs to body work as can't afford professional's to do it so I do it myself and getting better because of your channel Thanks Pete🤙oh and what cars do you have that would be a cool video ??
Thanx Pete! Hope you feel better. Have you ever tried an inversion table? It helps with feet, back, circulation and other stuff, nice to use every now and then even for 10 minutes, I feel 1/2" taller after using it. Standing hours on a concrete floor is what led me to it. I want you to keep those vids coming! I just started my D.I.Y.AutoSchool wardrobe with ordering a green DIYA.S. shirt, I will wear it proudly! Stay healthy!
I don't think there is a "better" way. The only way to go through a car like this, is exactly like how you are doing it, on fender at a time. When someone says ' just good enough to drive', there saying do it as cheap as possible, so I can sell it to make more money, because if a person really wanted to keep the car, they would make as though it was a new car. Like a treasure.
Thanks for posting you skills Pete, and keep them coming
Keep the video coming My friend Pete I enjoy your videos thanks
