What a Shame. When I was a kid CHEVY WAS THE BEST, and easy to work on, easy to soup up, and ran forever. This like Ford was the American Company to stand with
Then the Japanese vehicles stepped in and one could see how the doors would shut evenly, the hoods and trunks would all line up, the engines ran good, lasted for ever, so they took over
Then I believe the American manufacturers learned that they needed to improve and they did. However, now both manufacturers have slacked off on quality control and only consent themselves with sales. At one time, one could count on the dealer to take your car, service it properly and have it running right
Today, they want your vehicles for service, but lie to you to make more money. At one time, one could go to the dealer and watch them work through the glass. Today, they serve you coffee and donuts and fix your cars while you watch T.V. Who can you trust today, neither since the both have forgotten that quality control is a major factor in their sales. People want reliability over anything else. What Chevy needs now is to teach teach the Japanese a lesson and go back to quality control, be transparent and honest with every customer. By the way, most cars are made where they make them do that you will have to take it back to the dealer. On top of that, they may have a great engine and just when they perfect it, they make new changes which doesn't necessarily improve these engines. I can only hope, whether it is Gas, Battery, air batteries, hydrogen or solar that quality will be there. God Bless CHEVY and America.
