I know how to work on my own Auto . With these new ones by the contract i'd have to take it to a dealer for repairs .

I like this channel but when it comes to EV's you lose credibility. There is some good information here, but there is a lot that is wrong. Where to start. I have owned and driven a Tesla Model 3 for 3 years in Southern Ontario (Hot and Cold extremes) and have over 60,000 miles, so I speak from direct experience. My car is parked outside all the time. No garage.

    1. You don't need to replace the batteries after 10 years. That is the length of the warranty.
    2. Charging habits affect the capacity degredation, so yes, you don't let the battery go to 0% or charge to 100% often. No one does.
    3. Tesla has published real world data showing batteries after 200,000 miles still have 85% capacity. You won't be replacing those batteries anytime soon.
    4. Tesla Model 3 RWD Long range curb weight 3800lbs, BMW 3 series curb weight 3600lbs. Not that much more weight that would affect tires.
    5. Tesla motors have been tested to over 1,000,000 miles. Those motors will outlast the car.
    6. In 3 years, I have spent $180 on servicing the brakes, not replacing, servicing them because you use them so little as Scotty says.
    7. Using Ontario gas and electric costs, compared to normal ICE vehicle, I have saved $13,000 on fuel and maintenance.

I get bad anxiety in electric cars, it's ungrounding and all that electricity messes with my nervous system…

  4. Ontario Observer

One of the elephants in the room with evs is in the price of gasoline there is road tax which varies from state to state to country…I can see the goverment will tax these by the licence plates or an increase in electricity.. What are your thoughts..

  5. Tim Wasson

Electric cars can weight 1000 pounds or more compared to the same closest vehicle so maybe instead of giving them tax discounts we should charge even more in road/sales taxes as they will destroy the roads much faster !

  6. BryceLovesTech

My 2013 Tesla Model S has 126k miles, it still has 220 miles of range. And it still does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Amazing car. I uploaded some owners review videos on my channel

Electric cars make as much sense as cell phones. They never fail and never need to be reset. That being said, we needn’t worry about reliability.

  8. ToxicTiki

All i see is proprietary maintenance.

  9. Sam I Am

Too many like Tesla are so ugly looking(imo). Need to fix that

  10. The Kid

We're do you keep the electric container when you run out of electric on the side of the road hundreds of miles from a charging station ?😂😂😂😂😂
