The safest car to crash in is a huge heavy car because there’s more crumple zone to protect you. Electric cars have adequate brakes to slow them down. Also ppl are more likely to die in a car that’s either old or small during a crash. The only danger for electric cars in a crash is if the battery is damaged so much that the lithium is exposed to oxygen, then the lithium will burst into flames because lithium is unstable in the air.
