I love a 3 cylinder but not in something this big..
Even the new Corolla is front wheel drive and comes with all season tires
How long will that dealer be in business? It closes, bet that warranty goes bye bye!! This 3cyl engine and that warranty could close that dealer down.
We bought a new 2021 Rogue SV last year. Same exact new body style as this one, but I guess the turbo charged 3 cylinder engine wasn’t ready yet, so they stuck with the 4 cylinder engine for just that one model year. Interesting decision, but I’m glad they did. 33,000 miles on it so far, and it purrs like a kitten. CVT shifts as well as any decent automatic I’ve driven, so no complaints there. Gas mileage is still good…not quite what the 3-cylinder can do, but we get anywhere from 32-34 mpg on the highway. For the piece of mind knowing we have an engine that’s actually serviceable, I’ll take that over the new tech any day. We also opted for the extended warranty just in case something goes wrong with that new CVT, but so far, no issues. I can’t say much for 2022 and up with the fancy turbo charger, but if you’re looking to buy used, I HIGHLY recommend the 2021 model year. Very good vehicle!
Beside the fact that he got a free lifetime warranty, it is still a Nissan and he will need it. I just question the selfishness of supporting such a horrible company. They deserve what they got, a steaming pile of junk.
