You Serious …April fools is way off…

CVT kool-aid were the Altima's and Maxima's downfall. Nissan is in a transition period right now.. Ghosn era Nissan was the worst. They made money in the short run, but his “cost-cutting” reputation came back to bite em years later. By hook or by crook Nissan of Japan had to oust him to salvage what is left of the company.

  5. Insufferable Oaf

Nissan went downhill the day they became Renault's partner.

Those VQ serious engines are too torquey for a weak CVT. They can last a long time if you baby them and change the fluid every year or so, but that’s not the average driver.

That loose battery clamp was probably the problem. When someone works on the car they usually disconnect and reconnect the negative terminal. Not the positive so they get loose. Toyota clamps are not any better. After 10 years they stretch too. The battery connector for the starter. The solenoid coil connector. I have never put a starter on any of my car except the one I ruined cranking it too long on my 1988 Ford Thunderbird, my first car.

My 2015 Altima electric system failed. Nissan dealership didn’t want to fix it even while it was under warranty and kept pushing me to a Maxima. So glad I switched to Hyundai. No issues like I had with my Nissan and the Nissan was brand new 15 mi only when I drove it off the lot

"Nissan Just Ended Production of Their Cars"

Far as I can tell that's a lie. Why the false headlines?
