Today I did the first oil change on my 2012 Nissan 370Z!
I went with Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil: $28.68
And the K&N HP 1008 Oil Filter: $12.58
The car had a fresh oil change when I bought it, and I have driven 3,500 miles since then. I should be able to run 5k on this synthetic.
The oil change was very simple. 16, 10mm bolts to remove the under tray. Then just remove the oil drain plug, 14mm, and remove the oil filter. After everything is drained, put the new filter and drain plug in. Fill it up with 5 quarts of oil. A little more than 5 quarts came out. But checking the dip stick, level was within the 2 dots. Maybe like 40% above the bottom one. So It should be good.
* After checking the oil the next day on flat ground. It was spot on. So 5 quarts in looks to be perfect *

awesome video man will help me do my upcoming oil change
so nice everything is in front of car
If you notice part of that under cover folds in the back so if you only open that part you can get to the drain plug and filter. But i still remove the whole thing for a cleaner oil change =]
honestly, i was SO scared you were going to buy a fram filter… hahaha
Just got my 370z, im going to use penzzoil ultra platinum 5w-30 with a Wix filter
Ah! You forgot a new crush washer. Very important when using full synthetic. Either that or you forgot to point it out.
Nigga the k&n filter is snake oil
Looks nice and easy, surprised the front only needs to elevated a few inches!
Dumb ass question but do they not have the pull thing for a transmission oil changev
You should do a YouTube install of 2 things that everyone seems to have videos of but they are poorly done. One would be a nice detailed install of the Stillen Gen 3 Cold Air Intake system and the second would be of an install of an oil cooler system, like the Mishimoto system. Most of the videos lack clear narration and the camera work is really shaky and dark.
Good Chanel. Keep it up!!!
