A Toyota master diagnostic technician shows you simple Newer car DIY inspection on your car after it’s been serviced by the dealership. Also latest Camry Hybrid and Avalon Hybrid fan filter service for the hybrid battery.
This video started out in life as a simple and quick how to replace a 2018+ Camry Hybrid and 2019+ Avalon hybrid fan filter service and some simple tips on DIY checks while you’re at it. But to my surprise I find serious mistakes by the dealership that just serviced this car 2 weeks ago under the Toyota Care program.
I always encourage you to do your own car maintenance or at least understand it and be on top of it. Even if you are not very handy with cars learning how to do the most basic maintenance on your car could save you a lot of money and you can easily start seeing if your “trusted” mechanic is doing things well or not.
Dealerships are not all equal. And even within good dealerships there are bad mechanics. Always double check the basics which are easily missed. And as I always recommend get to know your dealership on a first name basis that way you know who you’re dealing with and who exactly is working on your car.

Another great video AMD God bless you! I bought an ODB2 scanner to watch transmission temperature while towing. What max temp is safe in a 2019 RAV4 hybrid?
