I want a car without an entertainment center, power locks, power windows, power mirrors. I want power steering and power brakes. I don't want computers except to make the engine run within emission standards. I'd rather not have that either. I hate all the new cars.

So the car industry has had its subsidization. Seriously White flight, all of this stuff is the government subsidizing the auto industry. Grow up and get over it. There was the Atlanta 1996 pediatric asthma survey. The USA government would rather kill children than force people to give up cars.
manufacturing should crack down hard on that just because things are hard does not mean you can take advantage of people. just think or thunk if they pull that stunt imagine what they’ll do to try sell you a flux capacitor or magic 🪄 gas savings never touching or even fixing it or doing like scotty says and said pulling a vacuum hose cutting it something shitty just so you have to bring you vehicle in or back. like states that do inspections which are scams to rip people off. find Scotty he’s a SAINTLY mechanic last of knights who truly gives a hoot.
I just bought a used Honda pilot 2013 for 7000 it does have 195000 miles but is in good to great condition. I did have to replace the timing belt just because of security from reading up on these and the small company that I bought it from didn't have a lot of details about service records. But I looked it over and took it for a short test drive and it seemed good. My only worry is that at 20mph it has a little shimmer any thoughts on that?
Problem is used cars have NO WARRANTY .. sold AS IS
