Renewables don't reduce emissions. Because of the the spinning reserve. Simply put it the gas generator, gas coal or whatever is not turned off when the wind turbines spin because if it doesn't blow it sucks.

It’s much more environmentally friendly to drive an older gasoline vehicle (like a 94 Celica with 300K miles) until it dies than to buy a new EV every five years.
The Volvo problem is a sunroof drain problem. Take off the front pillar panel and check the drainage hose connection. I cleaned my hose out with a piece of weed wacker cord. I seal my sunroof in the wet weather with vaseline. Keeps the flooding to a minimum. Wet/dry vac under the seat. Move the seat forward and there's a small carpet vent. Suck the water out of there. I get up to 2 quarts in the wet/dry vac.
I vaguely remember shell oil achieved 1000 miles to a gallon then the technology was buried.
