Tesla didnt recieve a penny from the gov.
EV batteries do not need a spark to ignite if they are short circuited The Runaway current will cause excessive Heat causing them to ignite from the inside and the best way to put out a battery fire is with foam not water
Time to sue Tesla and the other EV Manufacturers.
Resistance equals heat heat equals fire
I wonder how much CO2 just ONE of those EV fires produces. It's got to have a devastating effect on not only the environment but everyone and everything involved or near it.
There's only a few fires in comparison only because the uptake isn't huge, there will obviously be many more I suppose when the volume of EVs increase, the scary thing is the speed of the fire, imagine a fire starting at hiway speed, potentially not a nice outcome, I'll stick to my ice for transport
Would an onboard fire suppression system like Halon work? Someone should invent a grapple device for a helicopter to deploy, then pick up the burning car and dump it in the ocean or a lake or at Elon Musk’s house.
lmao ur things about looking for flooding. u ever live on gravel and leave a window down lol
