Just, disconnect the battery, and let it dry afterward. Problem solved.
In all fairness, modern engine electronics use waterproof connectors for most things on anything you'd be washing, like the coil pack connectors.
I’m going too disagree a little the water from the roads and when it rains still finds it’s way up in the engine bay when driving little water dose not hurt anything. The trick to washing the engine bay is too not hold the water in one spot for too long and stand back so the pressure washers force dose not put too much pressure on sensitive sensors. Everything under the hood can get wet it’ll be fine plus once you start the engine the heat will evaporate all the water. I prefer to have a clean engine why not you clean everything else on the car some people go nuts on cleaning the tires when they’ll get dirty in 5 minutes of driving anyways.
The people who wash their engine bays are the ones who want showroom cars. Haha. Let them ruin their own cars with their "eagerness"…
It only pisses me off when someone borrows my car, and then take liberties with it.
This one actually agree with them on even though this dude makes me nervous as hell whenever I listen to him talk because of his energy.
I'm sorry Scotty but I got to disagree with you on this one I'm not a diva but I can't stand working on a dirty are greasy oily engine
Well us car guys like to see our whole car clean not just the inside and outside
What about those of us that go to car meets and pop the hood to show off our engine bays? How do we get them clean?
I've done this before, I'm guilty. 🤪😄😞
Low pressure washing in the engine bay is fine.
It's the pressure washer that does damage.
Doubtful Scotty has ever ran into this though. His customers drive rolling garbage dumps.
