Hey Scotty , I have a 92 f150 5.0 that hesitates on take off and I hear a spinning sound , I think that sound is coming from the distributor. I changed the cap and rotor with parts from autozone . Do you recommend changing the distributor or look for a better brand cap and rotor?

For 20+ years it had a low rpm valve knock pulling a grade, After the Prolong treatment it's been over 6 years now and it hasn't knocked nor does it consume any oil.
