I'm confused Scotty , in every video you say "Rev up your engines" but in this video you say not to. What gives?
Had a 71 Comet, it had a couple chipped teeth in the flywheel, so at times, the poor starter couldn't engage. So, thanks to the old engine driven fan, I could turn it by hand just enough to get good teeth in place. Drove her 6 years.
Don't forget on cold start the metal hasn't had time to heat up and expand so all the bearing clearences are larger then warm, so if you put a load on things it starts to knock around.
