An honest mechanic…………….

An honest mechanic………………..
An honest mechanic…………………
Finding an honest mechanic today is like finding an honest politician or a virgin over the age of 12.
My mechanic doesn’t charge to diagnose. And he charges me a fraction what other shops quote me.
And that's the fact scotty. Thanks for your honesty.
I like how there is a AAA towing in america.
Here in the UK it is AA breakdown recovery haha.
Copycats.
Scotty philosophy: buy a Toyota… You will never need to go to the mechanic ever again lol ?
One of the things you should never say to a mechanic: I’m buying a used Mercedes
Scotty is a basic type of mechanic, change brakes, shocks, air condition etc. But to get down to the nitty gritty stuff he's lost
Scotty, how can I tell if a mechanic is being honest?
?
Sometimes mechanics piss me off, and these are good mechanics I go to them when there is something I cant fix or dont have time to do it myself. I explained something to one 1 shop and explained the situation. He didnt have time to work on it that day or the next, and he told me intake gasket. Me, I also run my own diagnostics from time to time, was able to have access to the snap on scanner and looked at data at school. It was not the gasket at all. I found it to be a couple spark plugs were nicked when installing the headers which was many months before. I went to another mechanic as we were both trying to figure out why coolant is disappearing. A hose T ended up cracking and i have to leave. He fixes the problem with a few modifications and installs new hoses. I find out that it still leaks from the same spot and he tells me that there is a leak coming from somewhere else. The truck is litterally built. Everything is almost new except for that stuff that he replaced. The coolant still dripped from the same spot and I found the clamps to be loose and I fixed the problem.
