Rule #1: Don’t buy a KIA or Hyundai. Engines and transmission are garbage and they’re stolen everyday.
Why would people buy Kia? They are good for a lease or rental but owning one with high miles is stressful. My Sorento made it to 210k before I traded it for a Highlander 🙃. I took great care of it.

smelly vents cabin air filter replace that if it has one ☝️, check the air intake hose mouse 🐁 or made a nest 🪹 they pee n poop and chew on everything. next check the vents on the outside of the car if those are clear gotta go further pull the dash apart check the duct work blower motor all the nooks n crannies they probably built a nest inside the duct work.
Had another engine bin 2015 hyundai sonata 2.0t. They replaced engine at 60k 158k no problems on replaced engine
