Hey Scotty. Have you been clocking the mileage on your Celica? It used to have 240k on the clock

Pretty sure that is not a fan belt, Scotty. What fan is it driving?

It confuses people when you say “water.” Even the term “water pump” is confusing since it’s not just water. It’s COOLANT. Even in this video Scotty calls it “water” and “coolant.” Most may know, but if someone comes here to learn, this is confusing.

That’s crazy 230,000 miles on the original WP!!!
93,200 miles (150,000 klms) mine 2007 Toyota LC Prado diesel gets a new GENUINE WP together with new timing belt, pulley tensioner, fixed pulley, injectors get serviced by a specialist injection shop.
    Reliability is how I roll.

My 2018 Civic EXT: After four years and 120,000 miles, the water pump weep hole started dripping. It’s designed to do that to indicate wear. I replaced the water pump and drive belt. I also had the PCV replaced because it’s well passed 100k miles. Total cost at Honda in 2022: $1,040.

Cost of ownership for Toyotas and Hondas are much lower than all others.

Sorry but some aftermarket parts are as good as and sometimes are even better than OEM parts. Also, not everyone can afford to buy OEM parts and the price difference for some would make the difference between putting food on their table or repairing their car.
