This one is just common sense. Ppl treat rentals and demos like trash because it’s not their cars.
Scotty, what do you think about this- Over the last 5 years I have bought 3 cars for under 1200 $
When one car breaks down I sell it. I got over 2 years with my 2nd car. The one I have had my 3rd for the last 6 month.
I even sold the broken cars for 500 bucks. Not bad huh?
I agree with Scotty because when I worked for Hertz I had times where I had issues of bad tires, a Saturn Vue with a whining transmission and a Mercury with a hard shift into first gear ended up having no trans fluid at all. I would not advise anyone to buy a car through a car rental place either!!
Long time subscriber. I disagree. I purchased a toyota highlander a couple of years ago from hertz. No issues., and competitively priced. No one goes on joy rides on a highlander. And, most people drive consertively when they rent a family vehicle, not wishing to incur any extra charges.
You are correct that their accidents are not reported to Car Fax. I bought a 17 Mustang convertible that was a rental and Car Fax report said no accident reported. I bought the car and once I had it home and I was waxing it, I noticed that it had body work from the rear of the drivers door to the left quarter panel. Car was cheap enough and it's not a daily driver.
How can we assure these "certified " cars have never been wrecked??
In my experience it has been the best choice for me. My car has held up well, no issues.
I bought a rental car. Paid cash for it. It’s been an amazing car and I love it more each day.
Also really high mileage
I bought a car from Enterprise and I had it 5 years and put 150,000 miles on it. And I never had any issue with it. My last 2 cars have been brand new and it's the only reason why I haven't gotten another one from Enterprise
