    I have a 2011 Corolla make in Japan 91,000 miles. I only drive 3,000 miles a year. I'm in my 30s. I may be set for life.

    You keep knocking Subarus, but when I was in the market for a new car, Subaru outback was the only vehicle that I could not find any used. Found plenty of used Camrys and Accords but no Outbacks.
    What that means is that people hang onto them because they're reliable, last forever and don't want to sell them.

    Too many new cars have too much technology now. Found out recently Land Rovers have batteries controlling the braking system and occasionally the batteries go flat causing the brakes to fail, what happened to simple braking systems.

    Everything is getting more difficult to fix. Our capitalism is based on "replacement" not repair.
