Mazda was one of the worst car brands ever during the 2000s and early 2010s. Once I was checking some Mazda 3s from those years and I was amazed that basically all of them had serious engine and transmission problems. Ironically, Mazda was very reliable until the 90s and after 2014.
While cruising through the Watts Riot Zone in southeast Los Angeles, I saw this sign on a dilapidated auto repair shop. "Billy Boy's Automatic Trashmission Repair We fix Hydromatics"
