I gotta disagree with the carburetors. I'm 21 and I have a 2 barrel on my 1980 datsun 510 5 door wagon. When I got it it was in terrible shape, accelerator pump had fallen out, jets were clogged, choke didnt work, somehow it still ran though! Drove it home and popped it off, sat it on the bench and went to town. It runs better then brand new now, and it has a manual choke not those stupid gas pedal actuated chokes. A new 2bbl or a 4bbl with an adapter would be hundreds of dollars, rebuilding a carburetor can cost as little as 20 dollars sometimes, sometimes they dont even need a rebuild they just need to be cleaned. It's good to know how to work on them regardless if you want to replace it or not.

The 2014 Optima is part of a large lawsuit. Kia will replace the motor for FREE and there is no mileage limit. My Sonata motor was replaced under a similar lawsuit.

Scotty, you sure are right about American vehicles. Had to replace the turbo in a 2016 Ford Escape with the 2.0 ecoboost with only 68,000 miles. Poor build quality and expensive repairs. Built Ford tough.. NOT ! 😂
