I lived in the Detroit area for 33 years and everyone knows someone who works for the big 3. I got so tired of people telling me I should “buy American” when I told them I had a 2001 Corolla. That was the best car I ever owned.

So Scotty, I've put 390,000 MI and 260,000 MI on a couple of Nissan 4×4 3L V6 manual hardbody pickups. Everything works fine on them, no oil burning, but I live in the mountains of Colorado and they're both a little underpowered for the altitude.
I've been thinking about buying a newer frontier with a larger engine and I wonder what experience you have with the frontiers and what years are more desirable , more reliable than others.
