THANKS. I am a female just starting out with a few tools. I noticed some of the cordless tools. but did not know where to get them. As you were naming them I was looking online. I can't get my spark plug out of my 2006 BMW 325i. I am going buy one of the ratchets or the cordless borsch. I have a little drill. I may try it.
Wondering if you can you review forscan? It is free, similar to IDS and can do many things including bi-directional gem commands. It is pretty comprehensive and can even pull door codes for many models. You basically have access to every pid in every module.
Runs on a cheap ford compatible generic obd adapter, (BAFX is one, but many others will work. Must support PWM). There is a small issue with the low speed can bus, that requires either a small modification or a more expensive adapter. May help lots of DIYers.
