My dad was the head mechanic in a Chevy dealership in the 60s&70s! They made good dependable vehicles then! But now he would be spinning in his grave now = for what they made! ECO TECH engines like 2017 Buick 4 cylinder! ETC. and TRANSMISSIONS! But some other MAKES! Apparently! Lots of unhappy people!. So i personally went back to Hyundai!. My old 2009 Elantra has over 300k on it still runs good and shifts good! My only replacement parts = battery & tires & wiper blades! After 200k driver power window/ alternator/ fan for heat & AC/ a few but not all lightbulbs! After 300k needs new coil springs and windshield washer tank and AC stopped putting out as cold of air as it should! Also i lost count at number 14 deer hits! Some ran into the side & some ran/jumped in front of me! O & also needs an alignment!

I had an 03 Cavalier LS years ago. It had the alloy wheels and a small spoiler. It was a pretty looking car. Drove it for four years with relatively no problems. Replaced the center window switch myself. Then the water pump went bad along with the thermostat, then the fuel pump went shortly after. Then after that the alternator went. I do miss that car though.

I LIKE the styling of the old Toyota you showed Scotty; I like the styling of the old Volvos too; The squarer they are, the more room inside. The most functional is beautiful to me.
