I shortened a few harbor freight allen sockets for this reason. Though most of the allen bolts I deal with use a sealer or thread locker and a little wrench aint gonna break it free.

Just bought a bit driver ratchet for this exact purpose definitely have used the box end wrench method before both work🤷🏼♂️
