Lol, scotty, high mileage oils have that same kind of polymer that makes seals swell, especially good for cars that leak out of the rear, and front main seals etc, that's why with cars under 150k should NOT use high mileage oils unless a seal is leaking or else it will cause the newer seals to swell and pop out of place, in that case it will cause an oil leak then, other than that, AT-205 Re seal sounds useful, especially for power steering pumps
Could u apply that to tires to keep them from dry rotting?🤔
-Advance Auto Parts sells the sealer. It does Not work on the clear plastic seals within the two stage outer seal assy of differentials of large trucks, large RVs. It also Failed to work on the pinion seal of RV/truck differentials..
Literally can't find it in all of Southern Ontario. Must go online
In my country I can’t find AT 205. Is there another brand that works like AT 205? I have available Rislone oil seal that works on transmissions and engines. Would Rislone or other brand do the Job?
Toyotas are NOTORIOUS for their water pumps leaking and needing replacing prematurely. It is easy enough to replace them, but adding AT-205 Re-Seal to the coolant can fix the leaking rubber seals and give you another 3 more years before you have to pay $300 to get it replaced. (Not currently available in Canada).
Scotty, does it also work in a leaky tranny?… not the human kind mind you, hahaha
Will it work for valve seals?
It worked on my 1992 Jeep XJ 🙂
