Just think you could have edited and make it look good. But you showed everyone has one of those days, you showed real daily life. Keep these reality videos coming.PEACE
Don't allow "defrost filaments" to ruin your day Charles jajaja! I was considering tinting my Golf but I have a habit of looking ahead of time. First thing that came to my mind was the defroster lines and a future of decaying tints…😮. You are human and you make wonderful videos!

great video. as a DIYer the hardest thing is just unexpected errors, unforseen problems.
I like your advice on being attentive on following the steps and tips regarding car repair and to be more careful applying it. This is to lessen the chances of committing mistakes through the whole process. This happened to me just a month ago when I tried to change my air filter, I put the wrong size by mistake. I was also searching for possible car repair mistakes which made me read about 8 common car repair mistakes every car owner should avoid. This helps me to be more knowledgeable and well-informed. What do you think about this article: https://www.beepbeep.ph/blog/8-common-car-repair-mistakes/
dang, I did both a Kia Picanto and a Citroen C3 removal of window tint, using the black plastic method, and didn't have problems with the defrosters, even though your tint seemed to be coming off way easier than the ones I did, maybe the VW defrost lines are more fragile?
When I got my old mk3, I removed the window tint with some sticker/glue remover and a sponge😅 never thought about being careful with the rear window either, luckily it all worked out fine
This video basically ended up with me going for a drive to blow off some steam. Nothing to do, but to get the job done. Window tint and I have a sorted past. LOL
