150k miles on my E550 and the only major problem it gave me during ownership was a misfire due to bad plugs. Also had to replace a blown air suspension strut on the passenger side which only costed me $400 and that was only for the part (I changed the strut myself) I’ve been using it as my daily driver for the last two years. I’ve changed the oil every 5k miles. Also changed the transmission fluid 2k miles ago and got a new set of tires around the same time. Car has started Every time I’ve turned the key and the trans shifts flawlessly. Take care of your cars and they will take care of you
Thats funny. I have an 02 solara that also is having power steering pump issues. I got 295,600 miles on her so maybe its not that surprising lol
I enjoy listening and watching all of Scotties videos. One thing he does not tell you is the cost of labor and it amounts too 90% of the repair cost. In my area it averages $110 dollar per hour using a flat rate manual. OEM parts are expensive because they are imported from Germany when repairing a Mercedes. I recently had the water pump replaced on my Mercedes SLK 320. In addition to replacing the pump it is recommended to replace the serpentine belt and thermostat at the same time. Total cost of parts and labor was $910 dollars.
Autozone "cancelled" my rewards card that i had when i returned some parts. i lost what money i had on the card. A-HOLES !
