Mate, seriously, you didn't even take the time to draw some lines so that you know where to put the holes, you just went to town with it..
It would have came out a lot better if you would not have cut the material but just loose strings, put that backing under trim and super glued the tear back together, put the resin over the cut with would be very small if done this way. Painted over the damaged area and then used some very fine sand paper to smooth it out. That is the way repairs are done by the manufacture.
