Love this video. Thank you. But uh, it's dedicated to the "guys in the garage?" There are a lot of women out there–like me–out here doing this, too!

Jun 10, 2023 I took my full size short bed truck to Maaco the have the bed painted. They wrote 16 hours paint time for the bed.

First off great video! I had a question, what if I’m painting a pre primed bumper cover (plastic) that I bought from Amazon should I still follow these exact steps and still use the filler primer that you used in the video?

Hi, I want to repaint my bumper cover and wonder if this will work. I have an '07 Vibe and it's due for a few touch ups. If not what would you recommend? Thanks, Mark

This can go either way. If your TRYING this for the first time on your own car that you use for work each day?

Or a project car that you have extra money to use?

Noticeits 1 part with a empty garage. How many of us has empty garages or can empty their garage to do this?

Not trying to bring the hype down, but most vids i come across have optimal conditions to work with.

Even if you could get similar results, you also have to factor in that your taking off each part. Thats making sure that no part (mostly plastic) breaks and/or snaps. Especially the bumpers thats all they do is snap in.

Ask ask auto body or auto paint shops that , people bringing in project mishaps, putting it nicely.

Again ive looked at lots of these. Maybe they should answere questions that would help. Without the viewer's?

If you're patient and willing- rattle cans can give you an amazing paint job. Just don't go cheap on clear.
Make sure you use a respirator when spraying clear coat. NO EXCEPTIONS

Help anyone!!Anyone have any advice on spraying black metallic. I’ve shaken my cans for around 5 minutes and sprayed from different distances. From close to misting for experiments. My panels come out looking extremely cloudy with heavy grey either way. Totally lost. I’ve had two panels come out fine with the same paint. But now nothing is coming out anything but cloudy grey. Anyone have any advice? Thanks
