Uber started as a 'ride sharing' app, which meant that if a person with a car was going where you wanted to go, another person could go along if they chipped in for the gas. Now it's just an unlicensed cab company that takes a share (read large) of the profit. I think that Uber and their clones should be put out of business. JMO.
