Not going to lie scotty I just bought and 01 ram 1500…. Buuuut it was $400 for a truck in pretty good shape no major issues other then a water pump leak and I I fix everything myself… Don't plan on keeping it forever and it's mainly a weekend truck. In that case do you think it's a good purchase?

I have an 85 dodge short bed with the slant six 4 speed with OD. Payed 800$ for the truck no rot at all. Did not start. the connection to the distributor was bad. So it would not fire. I put about another 800 into that truck and i have put 10k miles on it no issues. Simple old machines.
