Get a ecoboost 6 cylinder. I know people with over 300k I have one over 101k no issues
Scotty when can we expect another video of your 300ZX? I Am enthusiast and there has been lots of discussion about your video on the Z32 Forums
There's a YouTube video of a mechanic doing a tear down on a Ford 3.5 Ecoboost engine. The timing chain, guide rails, water pump, fuel pumps, turbo chargers, removing the heads, and now Ford uses another fuel injection system for the top of the engine to reduce carbon build up on the valves. Twin turbos, two fuel systems, variable valve timing, mechanic said to ignore Ford's service guidelines and change the oil every 5,000 miles. I wouldn't touch a used F-150 unless every service record was available.
As a truck driver for the past 22 years I've driven everything out there from freightliners , international, Pete's, KW , ford sterling, and Volvo. Present day in the world of DEF the volvo disel engines and trucks are the most bulletproof trucks I've driven. We have 3 volvos in our fleet and they just keep going without breaking down with exhaust regen issues.
I love to have my motor blown..
A beat up Dodge Caliber with a failed CVT is better to own than anything with a Ford logo combined. That's how much Ford sucks and you won't change my mind.
4:53 spitten some truth

The last focus rs was the first hint Ford was on the wrong track
Last time I was this early, Scotty bought his 94 Celica brand new
