NOT to be used in a garage with a drain in the floor. Your floor slopes toward the drain…

i would say no, your better with a scissor lift if your not going to go conventional 2 post. this portable ramp still has one post in the way, and the bars going across underneath. the scissor jacks on the seals so you still get the room down the middle. i went with a 2 post in my garage as 2nd hand it was alot cheaper than a scissor, the scissors obviously hold their money, as they are portable, you dont have to install them, and are easy to sell on. This lift has all the disadvantages of a scissor and 2 post, and non of the benefits. that is for diy'er. in a large industrial unit, this on the pump truck would be useful.

As always good content John, love your work. My fat cave was designed during some major house renos its about a 2.5 car width garage with 3m headroom and incorporates a single post parking lift in the left bay and in ground scissor lift in the second bay this means I can park the wifes car under my MGBV8 and park our other classic Mk1 Sprite in there as well plus a motorcycle, with the scissor lift down I still have plenty of floor space. Both lifts give me a working height of about 1.8m to underside, I cant believe how much I use them both and could not manage without them now. the parking lift was about $7k installed but was way way cheaper than trying to extend the garage by another 3m. Best investment I ever made.

I've got a large 2 bay shed for my automotive toys & to be perfectly honest my misses hasnt been near it in over 12 years. So on that basis l rection l could grab one of these & she wouldn't even know – no Gucci required. As they say bad arsed boyz need bad arsed toyz.

I was interested until you mentioned it was made in China.
I like how the Aussie flag is shown in large format on their brochure. Very cheeky.
When you see, in bolt text, ‘Designed in Germany’ or Australian owned company, ’ it usually means, in the fine print, ‘Made in China’.
