As we all know here us mechanics get the ladies?
Don’t do it especially young people, terrible industry and career imo. I’ve been a mechanic for over 25yrs, 3herniated discs, knees are shot and not to mention the chemicals you’re exposed to. Pick a different career, modern mechanics sucks imo. Yeah I make 100k a year, but you can make the same money much much easier and not destroy your body doing something else. ????????
You can trust us for sure.
As far as I understand, Electric cars are simpler, it's just the problem that whether and when they will release all the codes and diagrams that you need to fix them.
I got 20 years wrenching.
NO go to school kids.
Car dealers are not loyal to technicians and they treat you like your a slave.
You will never find a fair shop to work for.
It’s all flat rate , no overtime laws apply to auto techs.
When you try and change careers you will have no skills that carry over elsewhere.
I made a lot of money in my day but you young guys can do better with an education and a “real” job.
Worthy? I think there are more cars than people and all of them will break down and need maintenance yes it is.
Hi Scotty ive got a 2006 honda crv & a problem with the headlights pulsating bright n dim constantly. The battery reads 12.6v with the engine off & 14.4v running. Any suggestions mate?????
EVs are simple and almost no maintenance. Thus much less demand for mechanics in the future.
Stealerships do not want to sell EVs: little/no maintenance (where they make $ money).
Tesla opts out of the stealership model, why banned in states like Texas. AI as it advances, going to change the work demographics rapidly.
