12mpg? That’s horrible compared to mine.. I get 17 with big tires. I have a 2010 6.7 2500. So not sure why his is that bad lol
Whistling’ Diesel says duramax is best. Seems like he’d know better.
O no Chrysler's Ceo just bought Scotty out.
Well I have a 2008 Ford F350 4×4 extended cab with 8ft bed. It has the 6.4 power stroke and bought it with 114,000 miles and currently has 211,000 miles and no problems. The truck has been taken care by all previous owners (I'm the 4th) and it runs great. Now I totally agree about the GM diesel engine that it's junk. Cummins I'm soso with have had them in the semi trucks I've driven and they are junk but my cousins have had the Cummins since Dodge started putting them in back in 1989 and have had no problems. I guess it's just how they are taken care of if they will last or not.
Totally agree
An ancient Ford Pinto wagon might still have some life in it? I got a bridge I want to sell you next!
Dodge guys swear by their trucks as it’s falling apart around the engine which is the best thing about it and ram doesn’t even make it 😂
another great video. I agree with you about the Cummings Diesel engine.. My Daddy bought one in 1995 brand new and while he wasn't happy about how much it cost, he loved the truck and was thrilled with his gas mileage. He got 528 miles on a tank of fuel no matter how much he hauled or how fast he drove it. He called me after he'd made a trip to his mountain cabin in NC shortly after buying it and after getting back home in SC ,he called to tell me that the truck would only go 83 miles per hour up the mountain. I said, "Daddy you didn't need to go that fast in the mountains!" He replied, "He just wanted to see how fast it would go!" I'm surprised he didn't get a traffic ticket. And that motor had over 500 thousand miles on it and was still going strong when he passed away. My Daddy only bought Dodge's. His first car was a Model T and it would go fairly fast and he only bought one other Ford car but he didn't keep it very long. Cummings Engine's will easily go a million miles if they're serviced regularly. Perhaps even more. We had a 61 Dodge station wagon and Daddy and Mama together had put nearly 200 thousand miles on it with a 318 and Daddy's cousin bought it and then he sold it after the odometer had tripped over 500 thousand miles and Daddy's cousin sold it to another person who drove it for at least another 100 thousand miles or more before something went wrong with it. But everyone got their money's worth. LOL..Great video!! Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us who like to be in the know about car engines . You're terrific!!Take care!!!
im getting over 20 mpg with my old 12v cummins
I'll stick with 07 4×4 real classic Lq4 6.0 old gas chevy. I can tow just as much and mine cost 6 grand lol. Yeah I get 13.7 mpg
