    I had a 06 5.7hemi 3/4 ton that got 6-7 mpg towing, and 3rd gear, 35-40 mph uphill. In 2013 I gotta 1 ton diesel. 13-14 mpg no matter if towing or not, and uphill +70mph without even shifting out of overdrive. Worlds of difference.

    I know a guy that does excavation he towes a backhoe. He bought a Dodge Cummings with 200K miles it has 600K now still going.
