My 2006 Wrangler was the last year of the straight 6 (yes, I hear that they're bringing them back) and it had the best build quality of any Jeep I ever owned, and I owned many. It too was built by Daimler.
Even the best Jeep product ever made requires weekly repairs. 🤣
My sis bought one of these the door fell off the engine locked up so they replaced it that was just the first month. Never buy a jeep of any kind.

I own a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Had it since 2003. It's got 126,000 miles on it. Best, most reliable car I have EVER had. Still have it. I've only had it in the garage for repairs twice in all these years. I L💖💖💖💖VE my Jeep. I know every sound it makes and know immediately if something is "not right" and as a woman I'm proud to b seen under the hood knowing what to do with it. I will NEVER trade it n not even for a newer Jeep!! I won't even inherit it to my children until I'm dead n the ground! I'd rather buy them a newer car. I was ridiculed by a male friend for buying it but he's gone through 4 vehicles in the same amount of time with 2 nickle and diming him to death. L💖VE my Jeep!! 😍😍
