Sad but true. And when they go dead they go with no warning!😢 There is also not a lot of room for a bigger battery.

I had a 2010 Honda Fit. Great car. The battery was basically a motorcycle battery. Every 2.5 yrs I had to get a new one.

Just replaced my battery got the biggest cold crank that would fit.

Scotty, we're sick of you. Just move into the old folks home, preferably in Japan.

I used some electronic battery reconditioning chargers. They use a high frequency, about 22khz pulse to breakdown the sulphate that builds up.
My battery the mechanic said to change. I reconditioned it and put a reconditioning battery tender, no external power, it pulsates the voltage back and for with pulses that keep sulphates from accumulating. I got over 10 years longer in my "no good" battery and that with moving to where the summer and winter's are radical and it spent a month in my truck in freezing weather and started right up.

Electronic has nothing to. Wearing out a battery faster&buying bigger CCA battery has nothing to do lasting longer the size of battery depends on make&model of car or truck

It's because Japanese cars come with tiny batteries for the most part…
