I bought a used Honda 2 years ago and it still has the same battery in it when I bought it. Shop checked it recently and they said it's still good……

I bought a high cranking battery in 2021 for my v6 Accord at O'Reilly. It cost $150 so it better last awhile

Another thing to note. The batteries that are solid and have some kinda gel in them last way longer than cheap ones that needs distilled water. My dad bought a bosh one that had no water and was more expensive than the water one. And it lasted for almost 11 years believe it or not. While water ones last 3 to 4 or 5 years thats their life span.

You could just get an ultra capacitor and not have to buy one for a long time
