Love your video's Scotty! I'm a retired motorcycle technician from 1979 and now I sell parts, accessories, apparel and service repairs for motorcycles at an independent business "not a dealer" in South Florida. It amazes me since the Japanese have designed there bikes ignition systems with rev limiters built in the ECU/ECM, I see people all the time opening the throttle wide open revving their engine while the rev limiter is breaking up the ignition as Scotty described in the beginning of this video. I guess those people think it's cool, but they don't realize the damage it can cause later on. The rev limiter is designed to prevent over revs which can result in intake and exhaust valve float which results in the pistons hitting the valves causing them to bend and eventually breaking off destroying the engine.
