Toyota is manufacturing in the market where it is sold as well. Declining availability of workers-low birth rate etc. Problem is many of the market areas are experiencing the same lack of labor more increasingly….
Is that why Honda paint jobs in the 90s were so atrocious? Great engineering but lousy paintjobs in the mid 90s on just about every Honda I've seen from then. My 94 civic was rock solid though. Good VTEC with 5speed. Lasted 10 yrs then I sold it.
Canada makes quality cars as well.
