Scotty I got a question. I have a 2000 jeep Cherokee sport that has 250,000 miles and sometimes when I turn it on, it shakes at idle. But when I put it into gear and give it a little gas it stops shaking, and when it goes back to idle it doesn’t shake anymore. Any idea what’s going on?
"if you hear this, you are stupid"
I have a 2007 kia spectra5 it rides good for a couple miles. If there's a lot of stop and go, the transmission gets stuck on third gear. It makes the car jump and sometimes it goes like in a neutral position until I let go of the accelerator then it catches 3rd gear. Loud noise. Does not shift gears after that. Its an automatic. When this happens and i shift to reverse it jumps. Mechanics do not know what's wrong obd2 does not read the speed.
I live you hosnest good work you tha best.
For the surface rust on the frame, etc. I have just saturated them with used motor oil and that seems to do the trick.
Hey Scotty, I am thinking of buying a 2021 Kia Rio soon, for about 16,500. I have no choice, just got a new job that isn't remote and I have no car. I don't make much money, but I saw youtube review of 2021 kia rio getting 47 mpg highway, I will be 40 mins on highway each way for my commute… so this is best bang for buck I can find. As long as I take care of it and do what the manual of the car says regarding upkeep, do you think it can last me 200k miles?
Also, if Toyota and Honda are so confident in their cars, why don't they have a ten year powertrain warranty like Hyundai or Kia? I am not a big car guy, I just don't get it.
It's a holiday aren't you at a cookout !??
