The big hood scoops on 10 year old half ton pickup trucks is a favorite in the upper Midwest. Makes no sense and looks stupid.
I'm surprised that Scotty didn't mention camber a la stancing as everyone knows it's just an aesthetic thing, not to mention you run through tires even faster.
Is more for looks than practicality. Its about being different and not looking the same as everyone else. Its all personal prefrence.
Even Formula 1 cars are so low that their chassis often scrape the tarmac.
